Professional Experience

Rob Platt is an Associate with CRE Consultants focusing primarily in investment properties. He brings an unparalleled breadth of experience to his client's real estate needs and has extensive experience in bringing to a successful conclusion even the most difficult and complex commercial transactions. Building on his background as broker and attorney, Rob is able to adeptly address the myriad of issues that are involved in real estate and investment transactions.

Rob has extensive experience structuring and defending 1031 tax deferred exchanges. As a licensed California attorney and recipient of a Masters Degree in tax law, Rob previously served as Corporate Counsel and Chief Financial Officer for Lawyers Asset Management, then a leading tax deferred exchange intermediary. During his tenure at Lawyers Asset, Rob helped structure and oversaw tax deferred exchange transactions, monitored tax law changes, and developed a reverse exchange subsidiary. Rob has testified as an expert in 1031 tax deferred exchanges in Superior Court.

In addition to being a licensed sales associate in Florida, Rob is a licensed real estate broker and licensed attorney in California.
