For one month CRE Consultants focused their holiday cheer on bringing smiles to some of Southwest Florida’s families in need. The company partnered with The Salvation Army and donated over 500 items this holiday season. Partners, associates and administration loaded up three vehicles and transported the donations to The Salvation Army just in time for their annual Christmas giveaway.

The donations consisted of new toys, clothes, shoes, personal hygiene necessities and non-perishable food. Stan Stouder, Founding Partner of CRE Consultants and Vice Chair of The Salvation Army’s Advisory Board states “The slogan of the organization ‘Doing the Most Good’ says it all…looking from the inside out, I would have to agree with that…these contributions are truly helping others. I can just imagine the smiles and laughter of the children that will receive these gifts on Christmas morning.”

Associate Area Commander of The Salvation Army, Major Cheryl Gilliam along with Kristen Volpone, Volunteer Coordinator of The Salvation Army and Kathy Edwards, Donor Research and Social Media Coordinator of The Salvation Army were in attendance to accept the donations.

Both Major Gilliam and Ms. Edwards expressed that there is still a great need; “Donations are down this year significantly especially in the 9-12 year old age range, and other donations go to help our various shelters that provide hot meals, clothes and other essentials to the homeless in our community not just this time a year but year round.” Throughout the SWFL area they served 22,344 individuals last year in all social service programs combined.

Serving Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, Marco Island, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Manatee County, Hendry County, Stuart and all of Florida.
